CrossFit-To-Go

From time to time we all travel. Whether it is for vacation, work, a special event, etc. we find ourselves away from our gyms and familiar running trails. One of the hardest things for me to do is get in a workout while away from home. That is one thing I absolutely love about running…all you need is your running shoes/gear and you’re set.

This week I found myself in Connecticut for work and I wanted to do more than run. BTW, a big thanks for the running trail suggestions from Jason and Caitlin. Ran at both locations and loved them! I have been having great success with CrossFit, and I wanted to get a couple of workouts in while away. I had no idea what kind of crackerjack-box workout area would be provided at the hotel, so I wanted to make sure I could get a good workout without any equipment. That’s where my awesome trainer, Chuck, from GSX CrossFit comes in.

I usually consult Chuck for workouts while I am away and this time he gave me the mother load…an assortment of body-weight CrossFit workouts that require minimal equipment if any. Don’t worry, I have included the link for you here.

This week I completed Cindy, The Crouching Tiger, and some additional work on handstand pushups and pull ups. What workouts do you do when on the road?
